Managing MySQL Databases




With your hosting package, you have the ability to create MySQL databases. To create the database you can either manually configure it by selecting the "MySQL Databases" icon in CPanel or use the wizard by clicking the "MySQL Database Wizard" icon. To access the actual database, you can click the "phpmyadmin" icon. Keep in mind, when using databases you want to use the following information to connect:

Server: localhost

Database: cpanelusername_databasename

Password: password you created
